Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 18, 2026
Said It Couldn't Be Done is a free tool built by Tmaker SAS. We keep things simple: we collect what we need to make the site work, we don't sell your data, and you're free to opt out at any time.
What we collect
When you browse the site
No account is required. When you use the site, we collect:
- Usage analytics – pages viewed, quiz answers, archive browsing, buttons clicked. Collected via PostHog (EU servers) to understand which features people find valuable.
- Temporary IP address – used for rate limiting the AI chat and quiz endpoints only. Stored in memory, cleared every few minutes. Never written to a database.
If you submit the newsletter form
If you enter your email to follow new receipts, we store your email address with our newsletter provider. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
If you use the AI chat
Messages you send to the AI chat feature are forwarded to a third-party AI provider to generate responses. We do not store your chat history. The AI provider may log requests per their own data retention policy.
Third-party services
| Service | Purpose | Data shared |
|---|---|---|
| PostHog | Product analytics (EU) | Page views, feature usage events |
| AI provider | AI chat responses | Your chat messages |
| Newsletter service | Email delivery | Your email address (if subscribed) |
| Vercel | Hosting & CDN | Standard web request logs |
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to anyone.
Cookies
- Analytics – PostHog may set a cookie to distinguish unique visitors and preserve quiz session state. No cross-site tracking.
- Theme preference – a local storage entry saves your light/dark mode preference. Stays on your device only.
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
Your rights
You can:
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in any email.
- Request deletion of any data we hold about you by contacting us below.
- Opt out of analytics by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser — PostHog respects this signal.
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have additional rights under GDPR including access, rectification, and portability. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Children
Said It Couldn't Be Done is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Major changes that affect how we use your data will be announced on our social channels.
